Local families in Moon Township are exited that their kids now have a chance to enjoy nature by taking part in various events organized by Moon Park this spring. From the community calendar provided by the Parks and Recreation Department of the Moon Township Parks, there are various events that aim to introduce children to different plants, gardening, and nature in general while having fun out in the open.
First, one of the notable events is Little Sprouts Nature Pre-K that aims at helping children understand nature and its processes. As part of this program, kids are introduced to various aspects of gardening where they will engage in planting seeds and watching their growth in the open air.
In addition, children also get to participate in various events that combine arts and nature in an innovative way. During the event, children make projects inspired by plants, flowers, and other forms of nature available in the park.
Community members interested in participating can find dates and registration information on the Moon Parks online calendar. Through programs focused on gardening, creativity, and outdoor exploration, Moon Park continues to provide educational opportunities for local families
