Focus is the new app the school district will use for grading, attendance, and other information. It will help improve communication between teachers and administration. It will show the cafeteria’s menus as well as personal information. The Moon School District will start using the Focus app at the start of the 2026 school year. 

One reason that the school district will not be using Skyward is because it is shutting down. Focus will be a new and improved app. It is used in Pennsylvania as it is called the Focus Pennsylvania app. It will be used throughout K-12 Student Management Software. 

The logo is an owl with glasses and a magnifying glass. The owl represents wisdom just as the school shows with the grading aspect. The app will show a digital photo ID badge for any school use. It has several sections in Overview. Those sections are Courses, which shows your schedule, Grades, which shows your progress daily on what grades you get on your teacher’s time, Planner, which shows the assignments that are due and what you are doing, and News, which shows the days you have missed as well as other important events that are coming up. 

It will also show you GPA’s throughout all the years you have been in The Moon Area School District. It can show your transcripts as well as your teacher’s comments for each class. It will help you go into your next steps in life like college or other education.
