Moon Lady Girls Soccer

The Moon Lady Tigers soccer team has been unstoppable this season, even after facing the significant challenge of losing 11 seniors from last year’s roster. With a lot of younger kids on the team now many wondered how the team would compete without their seniors. However, the Lady Tigers have risen to the occasion, proving that they are more than capable of maintaining the program’s legacy of success. Currently undefeated in their section, Moon is not only holding its ground but setting high expectations for the remainder of the season.

This success hasn’t come easily. The younger players were put into key roles, requiring them to step up quickly and fill the shoes of the graduated seniors. Through hard work and determination, they have developed a strong chemistry with their more experienced teammates, creating a balanced and dynamic team.

As they enter the second half of their season, Moon is now carrying the weight of heightened expectations. Undefeated and with a target on their back, they know  every team in the section is aiming to hand them their first loss, especially Montour. However, this pressure has only fueled their drive.

The Lady Tigers are not just content with winning their section; they have their sights set on capturing the WPIAL championship and making a deep run in the state tournament.

With three state titles already to their name, Moon is determined to add a fourth to their collection. The road ahead will be tough, but the Lady Tigers have proven they are more than capable of overcoming adversity and continuing their winning tradition.
