Mock Trial season is starting soon, and we are excited to welcome anyone who wants to try something new and be part of our club. Our upcoming meetings are on November 24, December 8, and December 15, all after school until 4:00 PM. These meetings will introduce the case, explain the roles, and help everyone get comfortable with how the team works.
Mock Trial is a chance to step into a courtroom setting and learn how real cases are argued. Students take on the roles of attorneys or witnesses and work together to build arguments, ask questions, and present the case. You don’t need experience to join. Everything is taught from the beginning, and the team practices together so everyone improves at the same time.
The season will be useful for anyone who is interested in developing a variety of skills. Members will learn how to think on their feet, speak with confidence, and support each other during practices and competitions. Many students say Mock Trial becomes one of the most memorable parts of their school year because of the friendships made and the feeling of working toward something as a group.
This year’s team wants to grow, and now is the perfect time to become part of it. If you’ve ever been curious about law or just want to try something that pushes you in a fun way, these meetings are a great place to start. You’ll meet new people, learn new skills, and experience something different from a regular school day.
Come join us after school on our meeting dates and see what Mock Trial is like. We’re excited for the new season, and we hope to see new faces in the courtroom.
