Interested in trying a new dessert place? Fruitastik is open right on Coraopolis Heights Rd. This new place has unique, delicious desserts and great smoothies. It opened spring 2025 and business has been booming since.

When asked about her opinions on Fruitastik, Gabby Bitsura, junior at moon area high school, says, “I think Fruitastik is really good. It is family run and the quality is great. I enjoy the Dubai strawberries, mango smoothie, and mini donuts they serve.”

Melina Tolliver-Lehman, sophomore at Moon, states, “I had corn on a cob with mayo and Tajim. It was very juicy and something I never had before. I would only recommend if you are down to try something different. I want to try the chocolate covered strawberries. My friend tried this pineapple chomoy. She really enjoys that place. She goes there a lot.”

Kam White, on the other hand, says “The chocolate covered strawberries were freezer dried and I couldn’t bring myself to swallow them because how gross they smelled and how bad they tasted. I was not a fan and do not recommend.”
