On October 7, 2025, the Moon Lady Tigers competed in their last home match against the South Fayette Lions. The seniors were recognized for their long commitment to the team these past years. When asked what being on the team means to her, Abbie Warnagiris, senior middle blocker, says, “The Moon Volleyball Team means so much to me, it’s more than just playing a sport. The friendships I’ve made and the memories we’ve shared make every practice and game special. The love and support within the team turn every loss and tough practice into something still enjoyable. It felt like being part of a family that pushes each other to grow, laugh, and succeed together.”
Elina Antoniades said, “Throughout the years, I learned how to be a better teammate for everyone and learned how to work together with other girls on the court.”
Alicia DeCaria says, “As a senior captain, Moon Volleyball has meant everything to me. It became more than just a sport; it became a family. We’ve grown together through so many losses, so much adversity and every tough practice between. The friendships, support, and memories I’ve made with the team have shaped who I am as both a player and as a person. I’m so grateful to have been part of something so special.”
Thank you seniors for your hard work and dedication you put towards this team. Good luck in the future!
