As a community you can always guarantee the Moon area student body will surround its peers. Our student body takes very high pride in what they like to call the Tiger Den. Even though the Tigers football team is off to a hot 3-1 start the 25-26 Tiger Den seems to catch the eye of plenty. Not only for the impact they have on the game or the support they provide for their fellow classmates but also for how they conduct themselves. “I have to say this is the best student section I have ever seen, thank you for treating our stadium with respect” says Trinity Football Coach. Although Moon football is off to a hot start their Student Section still seems to be all the talk on a Saturday morning. The reputation these students have built is truly something amazing, some are to believe. The Tiger Den leaders like to say they want to give all students a place where they can feel involved. “We just want other people to be excited to come to these games” Brody Decker states. Another thing that makes the Tiger Den special is that they decided to sell bracelets at the games. All proceeds of these bracelets go back to the “Colette Cold Cap Foundation”. This foundations mission is to provide Cold Caps for women going through breast cancer so they can keep their hair through the very hard battle. These students have such a good connection to one and another and truly can come together as one. They come together and rally up energy at these events through the mascot “Ralphy”. Ralphy is a school Tradition that has been passed down for so long students today have no idea where he came from or when he was brought into the Tiger Den for the first time. This paper machete tiger is a massive staple of the Moon Area Highschool student body. Ralphy catches the eye of a lot of outside spectators. Schools like Montour, West A, and South Fayette all hear about the buzz about the tiger. The student body brought Ralphy to light so much that even the new administrators heard about him. The way these students rally around one another no matter the occasion is truly something amazing.
