Every year, fans of the Bachelor universe tune in for the finale of the original show. Grant’s season recently finished up, and it was certainly a whirlwind. Grant and the final two women were on the picturesque island of the Dominican Republic, at a resort in Punta Cana.
Grant Ellis was a front runner on Jen’s season, who was the last Bachelorette. He was a popular choice to become this year’s Bachelor, and fans were watching intently. The 31 year old is a former professional basketball player who is now involved in the stock industry.
Grant’s decision came down to Litia and Juliana, two fan favorites. Litia, a 31 year old venture capitalist from Salt Lake City, Utah, was a strong contestant throughout the series. Many thought she was just what Grant needed to get serious and settle down. However, Grant decided on fun loving Juliana, a 28 year old client service associate.
Throughout the series, the cast went worldwide, visiting many places on Grant’s search for love. Countries they went to include Spain and Scotland, where they went everywhere from the old European streets to the green Scottish golf courses.
However, the show always starts at the Bachelor mansion in Agoura Hills, California. There, Grant met 25 women from all over the country and from all walks of life. Grant’s season moved quickly, with multiple women being sent home every week.
Each week, Grant went on a group date and multiple one-on-one dates, with activities ranging from basketball to finance competitions. Grant formed quick connections with many of the women but definitely had a spark with both Litia and Juliana. At the end, after much consideration, he chose what seemed to be the best option for him.
The season featured many tears and some drama, but Grant and Juliana seem to be happily together, accompanying each other to the After the Final Rose finale.
