Band
As the football season came to an end, our curiosity was drawn to the band, and their plans. So, we interviewed some band members to answer just that.
How did the last season of football go?
Sloane Zinsmaster (senior): “It was very exciting to make playoffs and I’m very grateful we had such a successful season for my senior year!”
Rick Terrio (freshman): “It was very exciting season to watch and follow along with.”
Cailynn Patterson (junior): “The student section really brought the energy this year which made playing very enjoyable.”
What are you most excited about for concert season?
Rick Terrio (freshman): “It’s my first time playing concerts for ban so I’m excited to learn something new.”
Cailynn Patterson (junior): “An opportunity to perform in front of our community.”
Kingston Brady (junior): “Wearing a tux!”
As a senior, what is your advice to students who are joining the band next year?
Sloane Zinsmaster (senior): “The season go by quickly so make sure to enjoy the good moments!”
What is your favorite memory from this past band season?
Sloane Zinsmaster (senior): “Placing fourth in finals at a regional competition.”
Rick Terrio (freshman): “Bands of America competition because it was my first time traveling for band and we placed fourth which was very exciting.”
Brian Lichwala (sophomore): “Away band camp when we were all laying on the ground getting yelled at by Nate.”
