Summer of 2024 was a big time for music, artists like Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, and Benson Boone, were nominated to many awards and were able to travel to many places.
Taylor Swift is a popular musician with a family background of a grandma who was an opera singer. She was influenced by her grandma to sing and the first album that she released was in 2006 named “Big Machine Records”. In recent years she continued with music, and was able to break records with new albums that she released. In 2022 she released “Midnights” which won multiple granny awards. In 2024 she was actively touring as part of her record breaking “Eras Tour”. The tour features a wide array of performances across multiple countries, including stops in Germany, Poland, Austria, and the United Kingdom. During the summer she also has been involved in supporting Team USA athletes for the 2024 summer Olympics in Paris.
Olivia Rodrigo singer and actor Olivia Rodrigo grew up in California, where she demonstrated an early ability in music that included composing her own songs. Her debut studio album was released in 2021 (Sour). After the release it won 3 Grammy awards. In 2024 Olivia Rodrigo is planning to have a yearlong global tour. Starting February 23 in Palm Springs, CA at Acrisure Arena, with stops across North America and Europe, including Miami, Toronto, New York, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and many more before wrapping up with back-to-back shows on Tuesday, August 13 and Wednesday, August 14 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
Benson James Boone is an American singer. Born and raised in Monroe, Washington, his career began when he started sharing his music on the social media platform TikTok, subsequently being invited to join the American Idol competition. His first debut studio album, “Fireworks & Rollerblades”, was released on April 5, 2024. His album had 36 million views on YouTube, and 53 million views on Spotify. Following the success of his debut album, Firework & Rollerblades Boone will bring his live show to new cities, including Indianapolis, Houston, and Nashville, among others. The U.S. leg of the tour will begin on Sept. 24 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, and will conclude on Oct. 22 in St. Augustine, FL. Daniel Seavey will join Boone on several dates.
Sabrina Carpenter a musician and an actress, was first gained recognition in starring on the Disney Channel series “Girl Meets World”, and signed with the Disney-owned Hollywood Records to release her debut single, “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying”, in 2014. Her recently released album “Short n Sweet” was released in August 2024, was one of her breaking albums with 7 million views.
