The beginning of the school year and the first day of school especially can be a stressful time for everyone. This year, our principals, teachers, and staff wanted to make the first day a little less stressful by adding some fun into the school assembly.
This assembly consisted of a presentation introducing the new ROAR program encouraging students to show respect, ownership, acceptance, and resilience. This program is put in place in hopes to improve our school environment.
This presentation was followed by some students and teachers participating in different challenges. This first day will hopefully model the fun that will follow in the rest of the school year!
