Young
This song focuses on the struggles faced by young African American men and the challenges of growing up in a violent and the heavy oppressive environment that he grew up in. Can u get away
This is a track that has an R&B singer Danny Boy. The song explores themes of love and escape from a troubled life. 2pac uses the song as a reflection on his desire for a better life and a fresh start. I love this song for the way he uses words to tell a story and explain things. His ability is the greatest of any rapper, and it’s prevalent here.

around the corner
The second to last track to end this awesome album. The track is a somber reflection on mortality and the inevitability of death. The song is a poignant conclusion to this album of struggle and resilience. You could hear the pain and worry in his voice. In the first two verses of the song and the final verse, he just snaps and becomes angry about everything that’s going on in his life and how he grew up. which shows his ability to show his emotions about subjects and his poetry about the hardships of life. I absolutely love this song. It is one of the most underrated songs of his career.

outlaw
Outlaw is the ending track to the album. This song features his group the Outlawz. It dives into the theme of being an outlaw to society. The song is mainly about defiance and resistance to life with personal struggles. Not one of my favorites of his songs, but it is a great song nonetheless.

This concludes the album and it’s one of 2pac’s biggest masterpieces of his thoughts and ideology on life and himself. This is the only album of his I feel like his poetry and realness ties into heavily besides the 7-day album. It gets a (10/10). By far a must listen to album if you love rap.
